Feedback Skills Programs & Workshops
Help your leaders learn the skills, tools & frameworks for having meaningful, specific and constructive feedback conversations.
Do your leaders hesitate when it comes to giving feedback?
At the start of my Feedback Skills training sessions, I often ask one simple question - “How do you feel about giving feedback?”
Without fail, I hear at least one (if not all) of these responses…
“Oh, I’m fine with giving positive feedback. But when it comes to feedback for improvement, not so much…!”
“I hate it! I’d prefer to do just about anything else.”
“It really depends on the team member. Some people take it well, but with others, I’m never quite sure how it will land…”
“I get so anxious before the conversation that I end up rushing through it and blurting everything out!”
“I worry so much about how they’ll react. The last thing I want to do is upset them.”
Giving feedback isn’t easy.
Let’s be honest—giving feedback can be tough.
One big reason? Most leaders never get formal training on how to have effective feedback conversations. Many have never even experienced great feedback themselves—so they have no clear model of what 'good' looks like.
And then there’s human nature. We’re wired to avoid conflict—or anything that might lead to rejection or discomfort. It’s an instinct that shapes our behaviour, often without us realising it.
Plus, let’s not forget the messages we’ve grown up with: “Be nice.” “Don’t hurt people’s feelings.” No wonder giving feedback feels uncomfortable!
And even when leaders try, they often struggle to make feedback clear, specific, and actionable—so the other person actually knows what to do differently.
But here’s the thing…
Feedback is essential.
If If you’re a leader, giving feedback is part of your job.
It’s a powerful tool for developing talent, boosting morale, solving problems, creating clarity, and shaping a strong workplace culture..
The good news… (yay!)
There are practical tools, skills, and frameworks that can help you become really good at giving feedback—all kinds of feedback. And when you do, you’ll step into the role of a truly great people leader.
About my Feedback Skills Programs…
My Feedback Skills programs equip participants with the skills, tools, and frameworks to have meaningful, specific, and constructive feedback conversations.
They focus on fostering an open, curious, and human-centred approach—while also providing clarity around necessary behaviour or performance shifts. This helps participants to provide clear and actionable feedback, while also cultivating trust, clarity, and psychological safety.
Feedback Training - Key Topics & Takeaways
Our programs provide leaders and teams with the essential skills, tools, and frameworks to have effective, constructive, and psychologically safe feedback conversations.
Beyond skills and frameworks, our programs explore the psychology of feedback—why it’s challenging, how people respond to it, and how leaders can create a culture where feedback is valued rather than feared.
These insights help participants develop a deeper understanding of feedback dynamics and build stronger workplace relationships.

Ongoing Tools & Support…
Our goal isn’t just to equip participants with skills during the program—it’s to set them up for long-term success.
To support this, participants will have access to a comprehensive library of resources designed to help them confidently apply their learning in real-world situations. These tools are designed to:
Reinforce key skills and concepts.
Provide ongoing reflection and deeper insights.
Offer practical guidance for handling real-life feedback conversations.
After all, feedback skills aren’t mastered overnight—they require practice, reflection, and real-world application.
This ongoing support ensures that participants can keep building confidence and refining their feedback skills long after the program ends.
How is the program delivered?
Delivery Options
Our programs can be delivered remotely, in person, or as a combination of both, depending on what best suits your organisation. We tailor the format to align with your team’s needs, workplace dynamics, and learning environment.
For this topic, hybrid sessions are not generally recommended, as fully remote or in-person formats tend to create the best learning experience.
Either way, our aim is to create an engaging, practical & highly interactive participant experience.
Company Workshops
We offer in-house workshops designed for groups of 12–15 participants or leadership teams.
Organisations can also enquire about a broader company-wide program to embed feedback skills across teams.
Workshops can be customised in terms of session length, timing, and additional learning activities to enhance engagement and ensure key concepts stick—leading to lasting behavioural change.
Who is this program for?
This program is ideal for leaders and individuals who…
Feel anxious about feedback - and want to get past that.
Are new leaders managing direct reports for the first time.
Want to be recognised as leaders who support and develop their teams.
Need strategies for being “clear but kind” when delivering feedback.
Struggle with giving feedback and want practical tools to improve.
Tend to be too direct and want to foster greater psychological safety.
This program is not really suited to leaders or individuals who…
Aren’t willing to reflect on their own behaviour and impact.
Are looking for a quick fix to what they see as a performance issue.
Aren’t open to challenging their own biases, beliefs, or assumptions.
Have no interest in understanding others' needs, challenges, or motivations.
Prefer to avoid difficult conversations entirely rather than learn how to navigate them.
“I wanted to say thank you so much for the training session yesterday on feedback and coaching. I found all of the information super insightful and the format engaging. I’d say I give feedback multiple times a week but I find it awkward no matter how well prepared I am. The session yesterday gave some great pointers on how to frame feedback and also highlighted the little mistakes I have made that were likely going to become habits if left unchecked!”
Why work with Leisa?
Why work with me? (Yep, I’m Leisa - hi!)
Firstly, I’m a registered and endorsed Organisational Psychologist with Masters qualifications and almost 20 years of experience in Organisational Psychology. This allows me to bring a depth of understanding of human behaviour to my programs. Put simply, I’m a total nerd about psychology and behaviour at work!
You’ll benefit from my broad experience and knowledge in the areas of leadership development, neuroscience, positive psychology, employee engagement, and behavioural change. I’ve worked with many different organisations and individuals in both the public & private sectors.
In the last few years alone I’ve facilitated over 230 workshops and sessions with 1450+ participants and worked with 460+ leaders as a coach, consultant, or facilitator. Many of my programs are focused on 'leadership conversations’, which is a key area of interest for me given how often I’ve seen leaders struggle with this.
I'm also pretty friendly! And really enjoy helping individuals to learn these skills and tools given the significant difference it can make :-)
