Leadership Coaching Programs

My experience suggests that many leaders are not provided with the support they need to become more self-aware, skilled and emotionally intelligent leaders and communicators, especially those who’ve moved quickly from highly technical to leadership roles.

These skills are absolutely fundamental for great leadership. After all, leadership involves navigating a whole range of important relationships and conversations with other people. To succeed, you really need to be good at the ‘people’ stuff.

The problem for many leaders I work with is that this is often the trickiest part! They know their stuff from a technical perspective but are less confident when it comes to managing stakeholders, peers, and team members.

Leadership Coaching Programs

I love working with leaders who are motivated to grow their skills, confidence and effectiveness in these areas.

In working with me, you’ll get the benefit of my 18+ years of experience in organisational psychology, coaching, leadership development and behavioural change. I also bring a lot of evidence-based practices and insights from the fields of neuroscience, social psychology, and behavioural science.

As a coach, I often support leaders in the following areas…

  • Building greater levels of self-awareness and insight

  • Managing key stakeholders & peer / strategic relationships

  • Strengthening communication & influencing skills

  • Creating and maintaining psychological safety

  • Building capability & high performing teams

  • Strategic thinking skills

  • Leading change & innovation

  • Giving & receiving feedback

  • Effectively navigating ‘difficult’ or challenging conversations

  • Coaching & developing others

  • Time management & delegation

  • Genuinely listening; making others feel ‘heard’ & understood

  • Strengths-based leadership approaches

  • and more!

A key focus of my leadership coaching and development work is to help you become the kind of leader who builds trust, clarity, connection, understanding & constructive, mutually beneficial relationships.

Trust is earned in the smallest of moments.
It is earned not through heroic deeds, or even highly visible actions, but through paying attention, listening, and gestures of genuine care and connection.

What to Expect…

You can choose from two different options - we can set up a structured coaching program with an agreed duration and number of sessions, or we can work on a monthly retainer style basis (starting at 3 months). While tailoring your coaching program to suit your specific needs, here is some general information on what to expect.

  • We would work together for anything between 3-12 months, depending on your goals & budget

  • We’ll set up a schedule for regular sessions (for structured programs) or you’ll have access to me during specific ‘office hours’ (for retainer programs) - either way, we’ll work together to ensure there is always time in our diaries to regularly meet!

  • I’ll often give you ‘homework’ between sessions - e.g. some reading, reflection, or actions to maintain momentum and progress

  • Typically we’ll stay in contact between sessions as well (via Slack, WhatsApp or similar). This allows you to have some ‘real time’ support when you need it, which is super helpful when trying to manage important relationships or change existing behaviours

  • You might complete some online assessments to build self-awareness around your style & preferences

  • If relevant, I might gather some feedback from a few key stakeholders (e.g. your manager, peers, team members). The goal in doing this is twofold - to better understand and address any potential ‘blindspots’, and to garner others’ support

  • Along the way you will experiment with new skills, knowledge and behaviours in your ‘real’ work environment, with me to support you every step of the way!

All of my programs are ‘high touch’, in that we will both invest a fair bit of time into building your self-awareness and developing the required skills, tools, and approach.

Why? Because changing existing behaviours and habits can be difficult!
